Dr. Mahmud has over 20 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Published author in international journals. Honored with multiple awards including twice being recognized by President of Pakistan for exceptional contributions to IT and digital innovation.

His extensive expertise spans across digital transformation, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and public-private partnerships. Currently, he serves as the Global Head of Professional Services at NETSOL Technologies, where he leads global initiatives in professional services, driving innovation and digital excellence. In addition, he is leading the AI transformation initiative at NETSOL.

He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Brunel University, London, and a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.
