Hussain Dawood is a philanthropist and investor who serves as Chairman of Engro Corporation that has interests in petrochemicals, energy, telecommunications, food and agriculture. In addition to Engro, his list of directorships includes Dawood Hercules Corporation, Dawood Foundation, Karachi Education Initiative and Karachi School of Business & Leadership.

He has played an instrumental role in instituting high standards of corporate governance and a values-driven culture including character building and good manners.

Dawood Foundation has also established a first-of-a-kind interative science museum called TDF MagnifiScience Center.

Mr. Dawood has been a regular participant at World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos for 30 years. He has also a receipient of Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

He holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA and is also a graduate of Sheffield University, UK.
